Are You Tired Of Seeing Women With Autism Overlooked And Under-represented In Society
About Me!
I grew up in the countryside on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. I spent most my days exploring the Malvern Hills, making dens with friends and baking cakes. My mum took me out of the school system at 10yrs old to home educate me, from there onwards I have been self-taught. I had been seeing medical professionals here in the UK (NHS and Private) because of my mild hormone deficiencies. In the end, my mum took me aboard to see a Dr.Hertogue in Brussels. For more information about the case please read my Mum's book Legally Abducted. During this time, No one recognise my Autism so I was neglected. I want to tell my story.
My name is Victoria Kidson, also known as @missyautistic on social media. I am an autistic poet and the founder of the "Happy-Go-Lucky at Heart" Podcast, where I share my journey and insights on living with autism, mental health struggles, and living with Epilepsy. I am based in North Shropshire and cover everywhere! I want to raise awareness, break the stigma and taboos through my own business. I am an entrepreneur, willing to know more! I was diagnosed later in life with autism and as girls/women are rarely diagnosed and not diagnosed until their much older. I talk about what it is like to live, manage with autism and give practical solutions to others. Others describe me as an amazing, beautiful, thought-provoking and my aim is to change other women’s lives with my insights and logical mind. I am sweet like cake, bubbly like champagne, feisty and a quirky sense of humour! In my spare time I love to sing, dance and act! I used to go to Stagecoach Performing Arts School. My recovery is animals and I have an affinity with animals as many say!
